What is Scientific Relationism?
Scientific Relationism can be considered as a group of ideas, which maximizes and optimizes the performance of an individual or a group of human society, founded on 1) scientific understanding of human brain, behavior, emotions, instincts, etc. and 2) facts and observations regarding human socio-political-economic phenomena, etc. For more detailed understanding please read volume III of The Emotional and Relational Foundations of Human Advancement.
How can one benefit from scientific relationism?
Scientific relationism aims to give deeper understanding into psycho-socio-economic-political phenomena. It can act as a map by helping people to see explicitly the influence of emotions and instincts on oneself, one’s group, and others. It can act like the headlights of a car by helping to understand psycho-social processes around them, and drive oneself through their life.
How long it will take to understand scientific relationism and develop skills to use in practical life?
The book The Emotional and Relational Foundations of Human Advancement lays the foundation for scientific relationism. The benefits of this knowledge are immediate. Clearly one see that it helps oneself in dealing with family and business issues. Nevertheless, based on author’s observations it may take up to three years to thoroughly understand oneself objectively, by filtering out the influence of emotions and instincts on oneself, based on ideas from this book. It may take another three years to develop advanced skills in applying them to practical life.
How can one contribute to scientific relationism?
As a scientific method, scientific relationism needs to be subjected to peer review, criticism and refinement. Everyone is encouraged to contribute through the forum on this website. They can also contribute through publications in other websites, blogs or any science journal. Contributors are strongly discouraged from offending, slandering or stereotyping any group or individual. Scientific relationism must aim to help people by helping them understand oneself and others, so they can make decisions regarding practical aspects of life. Scientific relationism must not be used to judge people themselves.
Can I preach scientific relationism?
People are discouraged from preaching or forcing scientific relationism on others as this will not succeed. The ideas need to be learned through understanding the influence of emotions and instincts on oneself and others. A person can recommend others to read The Emotional and Relational Foundations of Human Advancement. People, if they like, can always do group reading or exercises to help understand and develop skills explained in the volume III of the book set. They are encouraged to give feedback on each proposal in the volume III through this website, so that the proposals can be revised, and new ideas can be included in the next revision of the book.
